Mike has dedicated his career to serving the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local Union 1 Minnesota/North Dakota, representing over 2,800 working members and their families.

Healthcare Fund Leadership
- Chairman, Minnesota and North Dakota Health Plan – overseeing a $65 million fund that provides healthcare coverage for our members and their families
- Former Trustee of the fund, continuing to protect member health benefits
- Senior Vice President, Labor Healthworks (September 2020 – present)
Background
Mike is a bricklayer by trade with 40 years of membership in the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Union. His decades of hands-on experience running our Local Union taught me that sound healthcare management requires understanding the real needs of working families. Managing complex health funds and navigating benefit issues takes years of experience – always with our members’ interests first.
